I looked out to a vermillion sky,
asked the Wind why people have to die.
He manifested in human form before my eyes.
He appeared as a silhouette,
discolored leaves rode the breeze before a pleased sunset,
and he had few words for me,
but I will not forget.
He said,
"Your body is a flesh car,
and it was never meant to go far.
One day you'll shed your scars,
and return to the stars.
You are a part of all of this."
I looked up into an indigo sky,
Asked the Moon, "Please tell me, who am I?"
She manifested in human form to my surprise.
Her skin was pale with a grayish hue,
But just as bright as the Sun whose light would see Her through.
I laid my head on her shoulder and cried.
She smiled and said,
"You are a part of all of these."
She dried my eyes.
I am a part of all of this.
It's tough,
I know,
When you've nothing to show but the love that you know.
But you're doing it right.
You're still young.
You'll be fine.
You've got nothing but time.
So just open your eyes,
Let the sun start to shine.
